About Jerhonda

Jerhonda McCray is a resilient adult survivor of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). Her life's journey is a testament to her strength and dedication, as she navigates multiple roles with remarkable skill. Currently, she is a doctoral candidate pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Community Care and Counseling, with a focus on Traumatology. Jerhonda serves as a Clinical Community Support Program (CSP) Therapist and Case Manager, where she provides vital support and exemplary care to individuals with Axis I diagnoses and severe mental illnesses, often complicated by co-occurring drug addictions. As a CSA advocate and lecturer, Jerhonda also advocates as a Mortgage Fraud Prevention Expert.

Jerhonda's path has been one of overcoming adversity, including surviving child sexual abuse and reshaping her life from a former criminal offender to a beacon of hope and change. She is a proud alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, holding a BA in Political Science and an MS in Education, and of Rhema Bible Training Center, with a degree in Theology. Her leadership was recognized in 2006 when she received the "Women Putting Their Stamp on Metro Milwaukee" award from the United States Postal Service. With three years of internship experience at the Milwaukee Justice Center, Jerhonda continues to assist individuals with Family Court forms. She also provides lay counseling at World Outreach & Bible Training Center, showcasing her commitment to providing accessible legal aid and support to her community.

Her multifaceted career and personal journey reflect a deep-seated commitment to improving lives, communities, and industries through compassion, innovation, and relentless advocacy.
